Scott Rogers

Scott Rogers is a Canadian artist living in Glasgow. He completed an MFA at the Glasgow School of Art and an exchange with Simon Starling’s class at the Staedelschule in Frankfurt, DE. In 2015 he was long-listed for the Sobey Art Award. Recent solo exhibitions include Collective Gallery (Edinburgh, UK), Southern Alberta Art Gallery (Lethbridge, CA), YYZ Artists’ Outlet (Toronto, CA), Glasgow Sculpture Studios (Glasgow, UK), a collaboration with Sarah Rose at Artspace (Auckland, NZ), ONO Gallery (Oslo, NO), and PM Galerie (Berlin, DE). Recent group exhibitions include the Hunterian Art Gallery (Glasgow, UK), NurtureArt (NYC, US), the Art Gallery of Alberta (Edmonton, CA), the Nanaimo Art Gallery (CA), Glasgow International (UK), Center (Berlin, DE), and St Paul St Gallery (Auckland, NZ). Publications include TOPO with Mason Leaver-Yap, Interior Borders with Samuel Forsythe, and Goosebumps with Mark Von Schlegell. Scott is currently the artist-in-residence at CCA Glasgow. In Autumn 2016 he will publish a new essay in The Arrowmaker 2, a journal produced by 8Fold (Munich, DE), and will screen his video ALPTRUTH at Western Front, (Vancouver, CA). With Will Holder Scott will edit an issue of the journal F.R. David while in residence at Kunst Werke (Berlin, DE) in 2017.
