Anne Low uses sculpture, installation, weaving and printmaking to explore the relationship between an objects’ historical context and its’ contemporary function, especially in relation to themes surrounding the domestic and the decorative. Her works are primarily directed toward investigations of the physical and material qualities of an object and utilize her highly specialized historical knowledge of weaving and textile industries.
